Please include the following, which helps to reproduce the problem. Do not attach audio files or unnecessary personal data.

- App version (Settings › About)
- The source you used (system audio or sample), the audio language and the subtitle language
- What happened, and the text of any message shown on screen
The app interface is in Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), English, Japanese and Korean. It follows the language of the phone by default, and you can change it in Settings.
Frequently asked questions
Why are there no subtitles?
- The content of the source app is protected. The content of some streaming services and music apps is protected, so iOS does not provide its audio and no subtitles can be made. The app does not try to bypass this protection.
- The source is silent or its volume is zero. If no speech is recognized within twenty seconds after capture starts, the screen says that no audio was detected.
- The language model is not downloaded yet. The first use of a language downloads a language model, which needs a network connection and storage space. Check the state in Settings › Languages › Language Models.
- The audio language does not match. Make sure "Audio language" matches the sound that is playing.
- Choose the entire screen. After you tap "Start Capture", the system content-sharing sheet asks you to choose the entire screen.
Which permissions does the app ask for, and why?
Before any permission is requested, the app first shows one page that explains every permission and its purpose. You can read it again at any time in Settings › Permissions & Privacy.
- Screen and system audio recording: iOS files the capture of other apps' audio under this name. The system shows the content-sharing sheet every time you tap "Start Capture". The app uses only the audio; the picture is discarded immediately.
- The app does not ask for Speech Recognition, camera, photos, location, contacts, notifications or tracking.
If you refused a permission earlier, turn it on in iOS Settings, or use the sample, which needs no permission.
Is audio or subtitle text saved or uploaded?
